previous experience: "Marina dei Cesari" is the harbour of Fano, a little Italian town on the Adriatic sea, in Marches region. The Marina can offer berths to 430 boats and yachts from 6 to 30 m length. "Marina dei Cesari" is a real "city harbour". It is situated just a short distance away from the historical centre of Fano, and just a few steps away from the antique commercial port, richly coloured area near the beaches, which is bubbling with life, hotels, nightlife, shops and boutiques, especially in Spring and Summer. "Marina dei Cesari" offers the opportunity to spend a pleasant holiday during the period in which the boat is anchored ashore. The interactive virtual tour of "Marina dei Cesari" (from now on "the Tour") is an example of utilising virtual tour technology in travel and tourism industry. The Tour was realized beetween 2016 and 2017 with 360° technology and represents an attractive browsing experience, capable of enhancing the "Marina dei Cesari" identity stimulating users involvement. The most cutting-edge tools were used to project and create a custom Tour, relying on a solid experience in the coordination and production operations. The strengths of "Marina dei Cesari" activities and services were recognized to underline them through more than 100 panoramic photographs realized with 360° technology. All the 360° panoramic photos were at first published on Google Maps within the Street View Trusted Photographers program in order to obtain a Google Street View virtual tour. The virtual tour was then enrich with the variety of features provided by Tourmake, an online platform that allows customization through the insertion of hot spots and multimedia contents. Tourmake also provides the tools to publish and share the Tour so as to transform it into a powerful advertising promotion tool. The Tour is designed for most Internet devices to deliver fluid navigation and enjoyable experience to the any user: it enables people around the world to visit and experience "Marina dei Cesari" via computer, mobile or tablet.
