profile: I am Pierre, 40, head of the ABIM Works structure. I have been a diver since my 13 yo. I ve explored many facets of this vector, federal instructor, combat diver in the French military engineering, commercial diver, and for nearly 10 years as a CEO of a company specialized in underwater work. Today I count 5870 dives. I am developing a project introducing BIM tool, otherwise known as digital Twin in underwater work. I have often found a gap between design, operation and maintenance of infrastructure and submerged structures. The maintenance today induces the use of very large volumes of materials resulting in very high maintenance costs. According to immersed structures, the problem is above all the lack of consideration of maintenance costs during project design as well as the aggressiveness of the environment in which they are installed. The 3D digitization of port infrastructures and submerged structures as well as augmented reality will make it possible to highlight the degraded elements that can lead to a loss of exploitation. In order to rationalize the consumption of materials, by reducing the duration of the impact of the work on the environment. In the short term, our goal is to allow the client to optimize the control of his submerged works by showing him what he can not see. In the medium term we wish to benefit this mastery and knowledge of materials by developing predictive maintenance.
